Assistant professor of Psychology and Director, Ruby Charak explains the most common mistakes starting a new year resolution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>&#8230;and I think the main errors students at UTRGV can avoid is we need to divide it\u2026&nbsp;&nbsp;what if I face some downs, because there will be ups and downs in life and that\u2019s when we lose sight of our goals&#8230;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Political science sophomore from UTRGV, Azael Sosa tells Vaquero Radio he has been able to follow his resolutions by having discipline in his routine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>I followed last year, coming to the REC and I want to continue it, so I just want to keep it a habit<\/em>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>From the British Journal of General Practice, whether you try to eat healthier or improve your academic grades, when it comes to resolutions, repetition will help you create long lasting habits.
