But I\u00a0\u00a0guess with the internet and online buying and online now,\u00a0\u00a0books stores and comic book stores are kinda maybe going the way of dinosaurs,\u201d Najera <strong>said<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/utrgvradio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/FeelingNostalgic_VaqueroRadio_SilvanaVillarreal1-1024x683.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5069\" srcset=\"https:\/\/utrgvradio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/FeelingNostalgic_VaqueroRadio_SilvanaVillarreal1-1024x683.png 1024w, https:\/\/utrgvradio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/FeelingNostalgic_VaqueroRadio_SilvanaVillarreal1-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/utrgvradio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/FeelingNostalgic_VaqueroRadio_SilvanaVillarreal1-768x512.png 768w, https:\/\/utrgvradio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/FeelingNostalgic_VaqueroRadio_SilvanaVillarreal1-507x338.png 507w, https:\/\/utrgvradio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/FeelingNostalgic_VaqueroRadio_SilvanaVillarreal1.png 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo by Silvana Villarreal \/ Vaquero Radio<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As the economy and society changes, business owners have to change with it, local business owner Eric Saenz said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>\u201cI think that is where everything is headed right now, there is opportunities online for sure,\u201d Cortez <strong>said<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Saenz, who is also a longtime customer, expressed his appreciation for the now closed store.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>\u201cTo have a place to come and pick it\u00a0\u00a0[comic books] up versus to have to get everything online, it was amazing ,\u201d Saenz <strong>said<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Regardless, the goodbye brought everyone to tears, Hernandez said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>\u201cTodos estan llorando,\u201d Hernandez <strong>said<\/strong> with tears in her eyes.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Cortez, an online shop is still in the works; it is expected to open within one or two months.
