During his time as an amateur boxer, he trained with his father.&nbsp;&nbsp;He is the latest of his siblings to become a professional athlete with each of his siblings having a professional athletic career.&nbsp;Most notably is his brother Omar \u201cEl Relampago\u201d Juarez, who boxes in Premier Boxing Champions.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Juarez\u2019s next step in his professional career is to train with his brother.&nbsp;&nbsp;Juarez also plans to speak with the promoters of PBC about his future.&nbsp;&nbsp;He spoke about his goals in turning pro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>\u201cJust representing the Valley, representing Brownsville and just representing anyone who&#8217;s ever supported me and my brother, my whole family.&nbsp;&nbsp;Just representing all of them and working hard for them,\u201d Juarez said.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>His mother Nancy Juarez, ran the event where he had his final amateur boxing match.&nbsp;&nbsp;She spoke on raising Juarez, watching him develop as a boxer and on his future, turning professional.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019m proud of my kids, the determination, the hard work.&nbsp;&nbsp;They\u2019re realizing that all that hard work is paying off.&nbsp;&nbsp;That goes for Sebastian and Sebastian, now that he\u2019s transitioning into a professional boxer, he\u2019s got a lot of talent and alot of passion.&nbsp;&nbsp;He\u2019s definitely going to go far,\u201d Nancy Juarez said.&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Several of the younger members of Juarez\u2019s gym do see him as an inspiration.&nbsp;&nbsp;Alfonso Cisnero , a member of the RGV Elite Boxing Gym, spoke about what Juarez\u2019s success means to them as younger boxers and how his journey affected him.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>\u201cHe can come from the bottom, in a city like Brownsville, and make it all the way over here and turn professional,\u201d Cisenero said.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Aiden Figeroa, another member of the gym, also spoke on Juarez<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>\u201cGet Number one in the nation like him.&nbsp;&nbsp;He works hard everyday, he deserves it,\u201d Figeroa said.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>While Juarez\u2019s next fight is still unknown, his brother, Omar Juarez, will fight&nbsp;<strong>Rances Barthemlemy on May 13 on Showtime.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Saturday, April 15, Sebastian \u201cEl Treno\u201d Juarez had his last amateur boxing match against Joao Pedro Braze<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":25,"featured_media":5956,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"cybocfi_hide_featured_image":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[14],"tags":[555,46,194,42],"class_list":["post-5955","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-sports","tag-555","tag-sports","tag-spring","tag-students"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v24.4 -
