The event featured live music, fun activities, prize giveaways and businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Exercise science sophomore Ryan Melendez said students should not be afraid to attend events even if they come alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI know it can be, like, a little, I guess, nerve-racking to come by yourself, but it\u2019s really easy to make friends, bro. Like, if you have at least one common interest, bro, like, I would be your friend for like the next 10 years bro\u201d Melendez said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event also relied on student employees to help organize activities and keep students engaged throughout the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Student Union Student Assistant Steven Miclat said he had a blast working the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA lot of students has just the energy. Coming here to The Stomp, and everything has just been nice, especially handling the events and machines.
