Students at UTRGV attended various events. Biomedical sciences junior Cynthia Garza attended the Brownsville Tip-off and tells us her thoughts.
[su_quote]”I think it’s important because I love that there is free food and there’s activities that we can participate in that allows us all to come together and be social.”

Mata-Vasquez tells us these kinds of events are a reminder of her days as a college student.
[su_quote]“I mean, those are some of my favorite memories are from events that were similar to homecoming or madness in a sense. So, I think the more students can adopt new traditions and create new tradition at the University, they will definitely feel that UTRGV is their home away from home.”

Mata-Vasquez tells us the more ideas the students give them, they will see if it is possible to make them happen.
