The Oscar Mayer wienermobile is actively recruiting 12 students across the nation for after graduation opportunities. Just last week, the wienermobile dropped by the UTRGV campus in Edinburg. A hotdogger for Oscar Mayer, Kelli Schulte, tells us about the first day of recruitment at UTRGV.
[su_quote]“We’ve been hanging out by the wienermobile all week and we’ve met so many people just wondering what we are doing on campus and we’ve been letting them know about this info session. But yes, we get a lot of turning heads about why we’re here but we’re here to let them know we are here to recruit for new drivers.”

The hotdoggers spoke in multiple classrooms talking to graduating students about the after-college opportunities available. Many students like Marketing senior, Arturo Cuellar, are interested in the possibilities of becoming a hotdogger and exploring outside of the valley.
[su_quote]“Most people that come to school here just stay around here and like they said you get to travel to many states, so it’s good for a person to get out of their comfort zone and travel a little. Just experience something else besides the valley.”
