The solo trumpet started with a performance by Isidro Martinez, Alejandro’s longtime musician. After that, the mariachi performed a medley with Alejandro’s greatest hits.

Alejandro emerged amid lights and flashes with the song “Que seas muy feliz.”

Throughout the show, El Potrillo sang more of his hits, such as “Te voy a perder” and “Me dedique a perderte.”

Fernandez showcased various songs of Mexican composers, such as Joan Sebastian with the songs “Estuve” and “Eso y mas.”

He also sang another song from the composer Edgar Barrera from Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, named “Difícil tu Caso.”

Fernandez performed a medley of Alfredo Jimenez, with songs such as“Si nos dejan” and “Serenata Huasteca.”

In the middle of the show, he thanked the public for the support it has given to his son and then both took the stage to sing “Mujeres Divinas” and “Perdón,” which brought tears to the eyes of Alejandro.

After he finished his segment, the audience in attendance asked for an encore with applause and shouts in unison.

Alejandro reappeared to sing “Caballero.”

Afterward, one of the most emotive moments of the night began when El Potrillo sang the greatest hits of his late father Vicente Fernandez, such as “De qué manera te olvido,” “Volver, Volver,” “El Rey” and “Matalas.”

He closed the night with the song “Como Quien Pierde una Estrella,” where all fans sang and danced alongside the vocals.
